Meet our Judges:

May Zheng: May Zheng, a Rutgers University graduate who studied cognitive science, Russian literature, and history, was once a PWA student herself. She wrote an interdisciplinary thesis bridging philosophy, cognitive science, and literature. Beyond writing, she has a career in the arts, specifically illustration and portraiture, and teaches fine arts to students of all ages at her art school in Plainsboro.  Check it out!artacademystudios.com/location/plainsboro/

Mimi Bowlin:Mimi Staub Bowlin has had a varied career, first as a lawyer and now as a librarian at Princeton Public Library. She holds a Master of Library Science (MLS/MLIS) and a J.D. degree. When not working, Mimi enjoys gardening, travel and hiking with her bloodhound/lab, Ulysses.

Bart Jackson: Is author of a dozen books ranging from outdoor adventure guides to business texts.  As a journalist he has published thousands of articles in magazines and newspapers across the globe.  He is currently CEO of Prometheus Publishing and host of The Art of the CEO radio show.

Final Round Judge Andrew Lars Wilson (PhD, Princeton Theological Seminary) is an academic entrepreneur, polyglot, translator, hiker, and writer, recently returned seven year teaching in Japan. He is a founder and current executive director of the Bartolomé de las Casas Society. The award winning Here I Walk recounted his 1000 mile pilgrimage to Rome in the steps of Martin Luther. He’s also published on Bachwealth and poverty in Late Antiquity, and hiking shoes. You’ll find him running, reading, or (recently) performing hideous experiments with Claude Code.
